A new venue, in August 2008, was Biddulph Town Hall in Staffordshire, where we played for their "1940s night". A capacity crowd came in their various uniforms or fashions of the era and enjoyed listening to the music or dancing to old favourites.

There were a few new faces in the Band that night, as several VCO players were absent. As usual, MD Geoff Seals kept us all together and the ovation at the end told us that the audience had enjoyed it all.

As well as new faces, our new stands were in use and vocalist Gail came with a new dress!
